We focus on the brain because understanding how it works is one of the major scientific challenges for humanity. One of the goals is to develop better medical treatments for brain diseases such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. Because brain cells are damaged by lack of oxygen, we facilitate donation shortly after passing—and in particular after Medical Aid in Dying, also known as Death with Dignity.
Registration
Registration can take as little as 15 minutes. You can pre-register—this is ideal. You can donate your own body or the body of a person you are authorized to represent, such as a family member. A body can also be donated shortly after passing. We understand that you may have unique needs or concerns. Please do not hesitate to contact us, especially if you are considering Medical Aid in Dying. We want to support your generous donation the best we can.
