Your generous gift will support brain research that not only advances our understanding of how the brain works, but also helps develop better treatments. Companion animals such as dogs and cats may develop diseases similar to human ones—including conditions resembling Alzheimer's—as they age. Your donation may contribute to research that leads to better treatments for both humans and animals, while also reducing the use of laboratory animals.
What we cover
We cover expenses related to donation, including transportation and cremation. Because brain cells are damaged by lack of oxygen, our team needs to coordinate with you and the veterinarian responsible for your animal's end-of-life care. We can help with finding a veterinarian and will cover that cost.
Registration
Registration can take as little as 15 minutes. You can pre-register—this is ideal. In some circumstances we can also accept a donation shortly after passing. Please do not hesitate to contact us; we understand that you may have unique needs or concerns.
